We ate breakfast at 07.00 a.m. in the accommodation and went to KGU because at 09.00 a.m. Prof Tsuboi would be giving a lecture about “Water quality and environmental issues “. After we got the lecture we went to the cafeteria for lunch. After that we applied the knowledge that we got to water in Arima Hot Spring. We went to Arima Hot Spring by train and bus with Prof. Tsuboi. In the Arima Hot Spring we used tools to measure the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Dissolve Oxygen (DO). Then we took 3 samples from the Arima Hot Spring for further analysis in KGU. The weather is raining when we’re taking the samples. After that we went to a restaurant for dinner and then we went to accommodation by train and bus.
